Using this experience Sony has continued this proud heritage with the introduction of the external slim MPF82E floppy disk drive, complete with USB interface. The USB interface means that no AC adapter is required to power the drive and it can be plugged directly into your notebook or desktop PC. The drive is light-weight and portable and is compatible with both Windows and Macintosh systems and as a result has unsurpassed versatility.
